On Groundhog Day, I saw the shadow...the shadow of death eclipsing the land of the living, that is. I guess that means 52 more weeks of death for mankind.
Anyway, DW2K7 is closing up shop, and unless some obscure deaths are reported from last weekend, it looks like Thanatos Therapeuticus will be the 2007 Champion. Roger Mortis appears to have missed a repeat victory by only two points. So in a couple of days, the prize will be sent off to TT. Congratulations to TT, who will have won in only his second year of competition. If something happens to change that, you'll see it on the pages of DW2K7 & here.
For DW2K8, the lists are under review and should be up and posted here sometime this week. Methods of paying your 2008 dues will be sent out once the lists are posted.
For those of you who care, this blog will soon be changed to be very similar to the 2007 format. And for those iPhone users out there, there is now a custom graphic for creating a DW2K8 webclip!
